LUMIPODD units are suitable for both internal and external deployment.
They can be placed:

• On school fields or unused boundary land
• Connected to indoor corridors or converted atrium spaces
• Within existing classrooms
• Alongside and in between trees, with the trees forming part of the design
• In otherwise unusable spaces
Each unit is insulated, acoustically managed, and weatherproof. Outdoor installations include drainage and access considerations, while indoor pods integrate seamlessly into existing school layouts.
Sloping Ground Solutions
The LUMIPODD system is engineered to work with challenging terrain, including sloping, uneven or restricted-access sites.
We offer:
• Adjustable aluminium footings for levelling
• No-dig or low-ground-disturbance installations
• Optional access ramps and safeguarding-compliant thresholds
• Custom foundation packages for heritage or tree-preservation zones

Fixtures and Fittings
All LUMIPODDs meet DDA and SEND Code of Practice access requirements.
Each space is designed for universal usability, with configurations that can include:
• Low-threshold entrances

• Slip-resistant flooring
• Emergency override and safeguarding entry controls
Bolt-On Furniture
LUMIPODDs will be fitted with modular, tamper-resistant and reconfigurable furniture systems designed specifically for school use. Options include:
• Fold-away desks and whiteboards
• Integrated seating with wipe-clean fabrics
• Lockable storage
• Writable wall panels
• High-contrast visual cues for clarity and accessibility
Sensory Additions
Many of our Podds can include or support sensory-focused elements, including:
• Dimmable and colour-controlled lighting
• Soft-touch wall and floor materials
• Soundproofing or acoustic baffles
• Bubble tubes and fibre optics
• Aromatherapy diffusers
• Vibroacoustic flooring or touch-interactive panels
All sensory configurations are optional and can be tailored to the needs of specific cohorts.
